ACT Scores

Hi,
So I’m taking the ACT for the first time in a few days and haven’t had much prep time due to being busy with HS.
I am currently a senior, and already got admitted and paid my deposit to my dream school in Florida.
I am concerned that if I do bad on this coming ACT, since it’s my first one, they will revoke my admission. If I don’t do well, will they take back my acceptance? Or am I already accepted based on my SAT since that’s what I submitted?
Should I be worried? Or just try and do my best?

You are already accepted based on your SAT. They will either ignore the ACT or use it if it’s higher. Enjoy you new college.

Unless your acceptance Is conditional based upon an ACT score, you are fine. I doubt that you have that condition.

Why would you take the ACT if you are already admitted to the school you are attending? Don’t show up for the test tomorrow. There is no way to get your money back at this point, but if you don’t show up, no score report will be generated, so you won’t be penalized (other than losing your registration money).

I actually signed up for the ACT before I was accepted and paid the deposit. I’m not able to attend anymore of the SAT this year

Take the ACT. You don’t have to submit your score. It can’t hurt you at this point, only help in terms of perhaps getting outside scholarships.
