I know that math and english were just silly mistakes. However, I cannot accurately finish reading and science in the allotted time! I enjoy reading and science is my strongest subject without a doubt ):. For reading, I read the passages and write little notes on the side, and I go 1,3,2,4 (what I think is my strongest order). I tried reading the questions first but that didn't work for me. For science, I skim the intros/graphs and go straight to the questions. I do 5 question ones first, then the 6 question ones, and finally the 7 question one. I know I am smart enough and hard working enough, but I'm just a slow test taker. Do you have any tips so that I can maximize my score? Ideally, I'd like to bring my score up to a 34 by September 21! Please help me reach my goal! :)

try a different strategy! Maybe read the questions before you read or something like that!
I think you should use the PR method. Borrow a PR book and try for yourself!

For reading, I use my finger/pencil to keep my spot, and also keep actively forcing my mind into the story as if I’m actually interested in what’s there, lol. Practice makes perfect.

For the reading, I just take my time to read the passage thoroughly and make sure I know the main idea, then just dive into the questions. Same thing with science. I got a 29 my first time, going for 30+ in September now that I got the red book.

I may be wrong but I think what she means by 1,3,2,4 is she reads the first story first, then the 3rd story, then the 2nd, ending with the 4th. I’m just guessing.

So, during the test you think that JamalM skips the questions that come with the second reading as they go from 1 to 3 and then 2? Also, thanks for helping

I would recommend skimming passages in reading this has worked the best for me also practice a little every day this also has helped me Good luck !
