However im taking the ACT before i take the SAT so should i study for the ACT by getting an ACT book or will this SAT book give me enough and be more universal for the ACT

No, the ACT and SAT test two different abilities. The SAT tests your “ability to take a test” and is not neccesarily “knowledge-based” as opposed to the ACT which is a more straightforward test that forces you to work with minimal time. Definitely, the SAT has “tricks”, etc that can be learned from a prep book/class as opposed to the ACT which could be prepped for by simply reviewing major concepts in HS. Personally, I dislike the “tricks” in the SAT and prefer a more “straightforward” test like the ACT. Hope this helps. Also, it is advisable to take A LOT of practice tests as they help familiarize you with the format and types of q’s on the tests.
