This past month of studying with my tutor we have been doing test sections out of the Barrons 6 ACT Test Book. They are pretty hard. On each section I score about a 26-27.
And I always score a 26 on Science. I have talked to some people who tell me these tests not like the real ACT tests and they will screw me up for the real ACT in 2 weeks!! Is this true?
Should I go back to the Real Red ACT Book?
All comments appreciated!

I see over 30 views but no opinions? Please help!!

Well if you want the most accurate representation of where you currently are, I highly suggest the red book.

Also, there seems to be a consensus that Barron’s tests are bit harder than the actual ACT test.

Everything Barrons produce is harder than actual(SAT, ACT, SAT II:math 2 is crazy, TOEFL, etc…), it could be a + or - depending on how you see it. If you prep with it you will be better when hard question pop up because the entire thing is hard, so you’ll be forced to use everything in your brain. But it could also be a huge slap in the face if you are weak on the test.

I really appreciate the feedback. This weekend I am going to take the test from the Red book to see how I do. I still run out of time on science and reading section. Maybe I should set my timer for a minute or two less. Would that make it easier on actual test?

Thanks for your feedback! Do you think the questions though are pretty accurate? I have taken about 6 science tests and I get 9 wrong every time. On the English sections its like every test they throw out 10-15 new types of questions.
