Barrons ACT 36/PR 1296 for September 21st ACT?

Hey everyone, I have run out of practice tests in the Real ACT Red Book and I just recently purchased the Barron's ACT 36 book to help raise my score to the 33+ range from a 31. I am wondering if you any of you have had experience with this book and how to most effectively use it to raise your score to high 30's from low 30's. My science score was the lowest of the 4 on the actual ACT and I am planning on using the tips/practice from Barron's ACT 36 and apply them to PR 1296 before the September test, which is roughly 3 weeks away.

Does anybody think this will suffice or are any of you in a similar situation?

BUMP 10char

Omg I’m in like the exact same situation lol! I was reading threads about the 1296 book and it seems like there’s mixed feelings about it. Like a lot of people said it had errors or didnt accurately reflect the real test or something.

Hopefully someone more experienced can weigh in on this, I’m looking for practice tests too.

I’ve had no experience with the Princeton review book but I can say that the Barron’s, for me at least, was awful. On a practice test, I got a low-20s composite.

…I have a 33 on the real thing. Sheesh.
