ACT vs. SAT: Your Preference

I'm new here, but I'm willing to bet this is a thread that pops up every other week or so. Still, I'm curious: which test do YOU prefer? Almost everyone I've asked seems to prefer the ACT, but I personally liked the SAT MUCH better. The ACT was just way too fast for me, and I personally like the extra critical thinking required for the SAT. Of course, my test scores bias me a little; I got a 2110 my first time on the SAT, and I'm hoping that with my math improvement I can get it around a 2200. Both times I took the ACT, I got a 29. Something about that test and I just doesn't click I guess haha.

But anyway, which test do/did you like better and why?

I like the ACT because there’s no vocab to study…
otherwise I wouldn’t care. however, I kind of like the ACT’s writing format a little better than that of the SAT

ACT is more of do you remember what you learned in school while the SAT seems to be more of can you think outside the box sort of style.

I seem to be do better on the ACT,

School given one in March-32 (no writing)
SAT in March- 1860…

I do way better in the ACT but I find it easier to improve the SAT for me given I practiced for that stuff.

Personally I prefer sat better because I’ve been practicing for it for a very long time, but I think I might do better on act given than the vocab is not as hard as sat and my science is pretty good too.
