ACT

Quick question, but how exactly does Georgia Tech calculate the ACT score? Do they just take the given composite, take English + Math only, Reading + Math only, or some other combination? Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Thank you!

Last year they evaluated by comparing SAT reading=ACT english, SAT writing=ACT combined Eng/writing and SAT math =ACT math. This year this statement was removed from their website so I’m not sure, but buzzport lists all 5 ACT sections so I’m pretty sure they now evaluate reading and science, but maybe weight it differently. The changes to the ACT essay scoring may have also changed how they weight it.

They favour E+M.
