Activities and Clubs

Which activities/clubs is everyone interested in doing?

I'm thinking about Model UN (although I've never done it), Club Ultimate Frisbee, RUF, maybe Quiz Bowl, student government, and some of the intramurals. They have info on this site for all of them:

I'm definitely interested in Student Government, possibly Model UN, considering I never got to do it in High school. I'd also really like to do some intramural sports. Besides that I'm really not so sure yet, I guess I'll figure out more when I get there.

im doing club tennis, and that may be it since club teams are decently serious. might do club lax too though

I'm interested in the dance company, volunteer work, some form of campus ministry (possibly RUF, IV, or YL), maybe intramural tennis... other than that I'm not sure. I'll definately be utilizing the free fitness center and classes there too. I teach pilates.

I'm really not sure yet at all, but I'd love to do some work for the Old Gold and Black newspaper, and probably quite a few intramurals.

I have done Model UN, so ill do that and I havent done mock trial, but i always wanted to try. definitely the Ballroom Dancing Club and Wake has already asked me to join the Harbinger Corps.

I plan to start the Wake Cricket Club. anyone interested?

ok. not ballroom dancing. the Dirrrty Dancers of Wake.

I'm not exactly a cricket player, but when I was there for Campus Day I saw three guys playing cricket on the Quad in front of the chapel. You may have some interest.

Oh wow. Thats wonderful. Thanks. Cricket is a good game. A little like baseball. The rules are quite different though.

The ballroom dance club is cool, not just Dirrrty. I know people who do each. Just food for thought- I'm going to Argentina to learn tango for seven weeks this summer, and when I get back from my semester abroad this fall (Ireland), I'm going to be holding workshops on Argentine tango.
