Hi I just joined the forum and I took two ACTs so far. One on Feb and the other on Jun 2014. After the first test I took a prep course and studied for four months. As I started reading forum posts about ACT, I ran across quite a few posts claiming that a student was accused of cheating during ACT (although they claim to be innocent). Now I am sitting here paranoid thinking that maybe I could get accused of that after putting in all the hardwork? My first test was 26 and my second was 30. Some posts claim that this happened after improvement of 4 composite scores. My scores were posted online about 4 weeks after the test. Is there anyway ACT can suddenly accuse me of cheating after my scores were posted?

Someone would need to make a report to the Test Security Hotline to report cheating after the test is over. They do reserve the right to cancel any previously reported scores (<a href=“ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT”>ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT), but there is no reason to believe they would, if you didnt break any rules

If your scores are posted then they didn’t think you were cheating.

Thank you! I totally thought they were using sudden increase in score as a reason to believe someone is cheating.
