I recently took the SAT and recieved a 1350 out of 1600 which is much lower than i was expecting. I have gotten a 720 on both SAT II for bio and chem. Is it worth taking the SAT over or is the ACT equivalent in importnace? Do colleges see the ACT and SAT equally or is there an advantage to submitting SAT over ACT? Would colleges be suspicious if i only submitted an ACT score?

ACT = SAT

I am only submitting my ACT scores because I feel like my SAT score would bring down my grade becaus I am not very fond of them.

Not to hijack this thread, but then would it be wiser for me to take the ACT instead. My SAT math and writing scores are up there, but my critical reading score is garbage, and I mean garbage. I can't make sense of the SAT critical reading, but I do well on AP English critical reading prep packets that my teacher gives us. Do you think it would be wiser for me to just concentrate on the ACT instead?

Probably it would be wiser to focus on the ACT then.
