my guidance counselor gave me letter today which said that because of my MCAS scores, i qualify for four years of tuition at a massachusetts state school or university. It says to mail a copy of the letter when applying, but because I applied a week and half ago and just found out today, should i just send it to the school even though they like everything in a package? also, the letter wasnt too clear, i still have to get in right, in order for it to apply, or at least thats what im assuming?

when did u get ur scholarship because i think i fulfill all the criteria but still didnt get a mail for the scholarship :( and yes u need to get in order for it to apply...also u should just email or call the admissions office to see if they want it sent or not.

I'm in the same situation with the Adams Scholarship. I applied EA last week and got the letter a couple days ago. I'll talk to my guidance counselor in the next couple days and tell you what she says.

I sent mine in when I accepted my admission to UMass, it doesn't make a difference as long as they know before they send out the bills in August.

It doesn't go with the application.
