Adding a class after the first or second week

<p>Other than the obvious need to play catch-up is there anything else one should know before adding an open class after missing the first couple lectures? Are professors offended that you waited too long to enroll in their class?</p>

<p>I think professors tend to be more worried if the class in question only meets once a week. Other than that <em>shrug</em>.</p>
