<p>Unlike the common app, Brown’s app doesn’t offer room for additiona info. I feel like I need to submit a statement (that I did for the common app) to explain certain circumstances that led to less than admirable grades. I’ll be calling the school up tomorrow (are they even open?), but does anyone have any idea how I should do it?</p>

<p>Call the school and see if you can send it through your guidance office, with some type of approval/acknowledgement from your counselor (if that is possible.)</p>
<p>I am unsure of whether Brown is open or not currently (My thought is the admissions office might be, with the applications starting to flood in), but your best bet is to contact them. If worst comes to worst, send it in yourself, and identify your name, birthdate/address or even SSN (?) to make sure they can attach it to your file.</p>
