<p>Where in the Brown transfer application does it request college information, there's no mention of college gpa/ letters of rec/ etc?</p>

<p>Brown is a wonderful school, but from what I understand, they don't offer transfers any financial aid. The most you can get is federal aid--Pell Grants and loans. Something to keep in mind for anyone considering a Brown transfer.</p>

<p>they dont have any forms for faculty recommendations or even for the deans report as i recall, though im pretty sure you need them and def need a transcript sent. oddly enough, they have a very comprehensive secondary school report. one would think theyd have similarly in depth reports for the faculty and dean at ur current school, but apparantly not.</p>
<p>Speaking of secondary school report I recently spoke with my guidance counselor and she said they don't do anything other than provide transcripts for students who have already graduated, they don't do recommendations or things like that. Has anyone else had this problem??</p>
<p>brazilian, you may wanna ask your guidance counselors to note that on your secondary report. Then if I were you, I'd ask Brown if you could submit an extra letter of rec from a highschool teacher to make up for the lack of qualitative info regarding your high school information. Although I don't have the full Brown app, I think the application allows for a supplementary letter of rec.</p>
