Hello Everyone!

I am applying early to Stanford and had a few questions about the Additional Information section on the Common App. I am an IB diploma student with an unweighted 4.0. (Weighted 4.56). My class has 400 students and I am ranked number 9. I started my own nonprofit organization, and have raised over $4,000 for charity. I am also involved in a number of other EC's such as: CSF, IB Club, Student government, Beach Volleyball, etc. However, my standardized test scores are not the best. Stanford does not require SAT subject tests, just recommends them. My Scores are listed below:
Math ii: 500
Biology-m: (Results released in 2 days)
Literature: (Results released in 2 days)
AP Euro: 5
IB Spanish SL: 5 (out of 7)
ACT: 27 (English: 30, Math:27, Reading:23, Science:29, Writing & English Combined: 28)

Clearly there is a disconnect with my test scores and transcript. I was thinking about talking about why I did not have the ability to study as much for those tests. I have had to help raise my sister since she was a baby, she is now 4. (My mom is a single Mom with 3 daughters: myself, 13 year old, and 4 year old). This past summer I had to work full time to help make ends meet, and I have had at least a part time job since freshman year to help support my family. In the additional information section can I discuss the sacrifices I had to make for my family, and one of those was studying for standardized tests. I have always been dedicated to IB work, as I have never recieved a B.

If I can discuss this in the additional information section, how do I go about doing this? Do I tailor it to Stanford? I want to make sure that I do not sound like I am giving excuses, but simply presenting the circumstances.
