I recently submitted additional information through the portal.
Do you think it will be reviewed before the final decision?
It’s really anyone’s guess.
With 35,000 applications, sometimes it can take weeks for the file room to download an update to the portal, add the information to an applicant’s file and have the update looked at by an AO. I guess you didn’t think it wasn’t an important enough update to warrant FAXing the materials.
@gibby Someone told me to fax the materials in my previous thread, but I had already submitted them through the portal. I thought it would annoy the admissions officers if I submitted duplicates via fax… Should I contact the admissions office first and see if they’d like me to fax them to the office? Or should I fax them right now?
@gibby Also, when I fax the copies, should I send them all together with one cover page? Or should I send them separately? I submitted three pdf files through the portal.
Bump, anyone?
At this late date in the Admissions process, your goal is to get noticed! Uploading through the portal AND faxing isn’t annoying – it’s being the squeaky wheel. (Calling Admissions everyday to see if they have downloaded your portal update yet would be annoying, and something you shouldn’t do.) DO NOT send the pdf’s separately. Bundle together and send as ONE FAX.
@gibby Got it. Now I’m relieved! Thank you for your prompt response!!
