ADDITIONAL letter of rec by a Cornell alum?

<p>hello guys. i would like to know if an additional letter from a Cornell alum will make any difference. I am an international applicant from Armenia and I spent two summers working in the USA. My employer's son went there and he was the manager of the place where I worked. IDK if the letter would paly any part, would it?:(</p>

<p>1) Being from Armenia helps you already (I don’t think there are a lot of Armenians in Cornell…)
2) If he’s writing you an additional letter, it better be REALLLLLLY good. Like, spectacular. If it’s not, you’re just annoying the adcom with another generic letter</p>
