I have a really good additional letter of recommendation from the president of a board I'm a member of, but how do I go about actually sending the letter?

Where do I mail it? And do I need to attach any labels or anything else?

[USC Undergraduate Admission - Contact Us](http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/contact/index.html)

USC is fairly flexible about how your send materials. Here is one way:

Provide the recommender with a pre-addressed envelope with the USC address given above. Either ask the recommender to include your name and birth-date* at the top of the letter or you can make labels with your name, address and birth-date and ask the recommender to affix one to the letter. Have the recommender seal the letter and sign his/her name across the seal.

*If you already have a USC ID#, use that instead of your birth-date for identification purposes.

Good luck

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Saved me some time among all this chaos knows as college admissions.

It would be courteous to write a thank you note to an individual who takes the time to write a positive letter on your behalf.

Oh, yes. Definitely will, just like I got my teachers who did my recs something.
