I applied for some of the additional merit scholarships back in January, and the page said we would all hear back by April 1. I haven't heard anything yet. Has anyone else?

And, on a slightly different note, I haven't gotten my FA offer yet. Is that something common for students who applied EA?

First FA offer came in the admissions packet, dated 12/8. Then D received an additional scholarship which was sent overnight the day regular admissions came out, 3/8. The revised FA offer then came a few days later via regular mail.

Maybe you are missing some FA documents? In any case, the award even with scholarships was very low and nowhere close to a higher ranked university. It doesn’t look like my D will be attending.

You should follow up with the FA dept. I hope things work out for you.

Check your FA page on your online account. I got a preliminary FA read with my EA acceptance in Dec, that included a merit scholarship. I filed the FAFSA in Jan and the FA office emailed me in Feb for some verfication forms. I sent the last form in March and my FA page finally showed award data two days ago. Today I got an email notice of a corrected FA award. They added a substantial CWRU need based award. I’m so thankful because without it, I basically wouldn’t be able to go. Now I’m headed off the admitted students overnight tomorrow.
