I submitted my commonapp last night to Yale, and I decided at the last minute to add a music resume of sorts in the Additional Writing box - it's really just a list of my musical achievements and awards. The thing is, it's just a massive block of text, and it would be really tedious to read the whole thing... I'd hate to annoy the admissions officer reading my application.

I emailed my guidance counselor for advice, but she never got back to me. When I submit my commonapp to other schools tonight, should I keep the achievements and awards list or should I just take it out?

I had about forty characters left over after I pasted my resume into it, so I also left a little note at the top of my resume, sort of as a joke for the reader. It says "Feel free to just skim this..."
I wasn't sure if I should keep it in. I sent it to Yale mostly because I don't expect to get in anyway, and the rest of my application makes it pretty clear that I like to have fun with my writing. Since this isn't technically part of an essay, though, I'm not really sure if it would make the adcoms laugh or if it would be crossing the line.

Advice, please? I'd like enough time to make an alternate version of my commonapp if I need to.
