I am planning to add an additional class during the adjustment period. Does anyone know if the 20.5 unit limit for L&S will prevent me from adding 21 units during the adjustment period? Problem is, I am only enrolled in 9 units so far and I am waitlisted for two classes. I want to add myself on the waitlist for another class during the adjustment period. Will I be able to do so if I will end up with 21 units with the added class? Is the unit limit loosely implemented like during phase 2? I need to to add this many units to ensure that I will be able to get off the waitlist for at least one class so I can reach the minimum unit requirement. Thank you.

Hey stevenboi. I know you!

To answer question: Telebears doesn’t care. I added like so many classes that I was up to like 30 last semester. Ended up dropping quite a few classes though. Your advisors won’t even know if you are above the unit cap unless you tell them… They won’t mind unless you do poorly, and then they will get angry with you!

Do you happen to live on the same floor as me? How do you know me? And are you sure I can add as many units as I want above the 20.5 limit? What advisor are you talking about? Thank you for addressing my concerns so far :).

Can someone confirm this for me: We can add as many units as we want during the adjustment period?
