Admission chances for Rice University?

I am a junior in high school this year and recieved a score of 203 on the PSAT that ranked in the 97th percentile. All of my core curriculum have been honors or AP classes and I'm currently in the top 14% of my class.

I've been in the National Honor Society since sophomore year, am a member and Secretary of our FFA chapter and I have been apart of quite a few community service projects over the last three years. In addition I have been apart of the yearbook staff and I've been running cross country since sophomore year and plan on running a third season my senior year.

Rice is definitely at the top of my list, and I am most interested in the social sciences college. So, any advice? What do you think my chances are?

Thanks!

Rice is one of those schools you just really have to show you have tried your best at everything! So keep up the good work, but it wouldn’t hurt to make all A’s, start sucking up to your junior teachers, and picking some more EC’s. Volunteer work- like a steady one. They really look for a diamond in the rough. I had my interview- and it went ok- but I didn’t really feel it. Be EXTRA prepared for the interview. I think you can nail it by noting that you are different, talented, and unique. Also, try getting to know some people at Rice. And take all the tours before you submit your application.
Hopefully this helps!

Yes this definitely helps, thank you!
