I'm a 16 year old junior who really wants to go to Rice. Can you tell me my chances?

SAT: 2370
PSAT: 235
SAT IIs: 770 Biology, Others not taken
Probably rank #1 or 2 in my class (we don't know till senior year)
Take all AP and honors classes
Treasurer of National Honor Society, President of Key Club
Really would like to pursue a medical career for the love of biology

No one here can tell you whether you'll get in or not. Your stats are excellent, and they put you solidly within the range of admitted students. Your extracurriculars are lacking, although the officer positions are good. Let your personality show through your essays, as this will help Rice get a better idea of who you are and will distinguish your application. If Rice is where you really want to go, apply ED (but make sure you are completely committed to Rice and financial aid is not an issue). Good luck.

Well, I'm also in Spanish Honor Society and Science National Honor Society.

I was named President for the 07-08 year of Math Club.

More Stats:
Asian, Female, live with 2 parents and younger sister

I would also like to try for the Rice/Baylor program. I've heard that it's really hard to get in--what does it take to get in? Does anyone know what they're looking for?

could you get into Rice with a 3.7 GPA.I work alot and my grades have suffered because of it. I know other things are under consideration but I wanted to know if it was possible with this GPA

well I was there on a visit and I heard that they will look at the highest 2 scores on SAT II. It doesn't matter which subjects
which is good for me because im in the same situation as you
i got us history - 760
math ii - 780
but physics like a 660 (top 51% :( )
