<p>Something you might want to really, really highlight is your Soccer accomplishment. Speak with the Yale coach and tell him your invovlement and skill level. Know that the average level of skill of American high school seniors is dramatically less than the average European player of the same age -- in general.</p>

<p>Do you have any proof of that? Or is that just your opinion?</p>

<p>My understanding is that international applicants face tougher odds than applicants from the US.</p>

<p>Does your school have a track record with elite US colleges? If it's a known quantity, that will help.</p>
