Admission Deadline and Timezones

<p>Hello!</p>

<p>I am applying to Vassar for the Class of 2019 (regular decision). I know that the deadline is 11:59 on January 1st, 2015, but is this Eastern Time or local time of the applicant? I know that this differs for colleges. For instance, Brown is local time but Emory is ET.</p>

<p>I currently live in Singapore so my local time deadline will be later.</p>

<p>I couldn’t find the answer on Vassar’s web site. To be on the safe side, I’d suggest you assume it’s Eastern
Time.</p>
