Just wondering and I do not wanna sound like a nervous wreck asking that question
but is there a specific date when princeton mails out decisions? well obviously it's going to be between march and april but when?
thanks a lot =)

according to a bunch of CC forums, the ivy league notification date/time is monday march 31 at 5:00 pm, so that's when princeton should send out their decisions!

My older sister applied to Princeton in 2004. It was the last response she got in the mail and it came around April 6. I don’t think they let applicants learn the decisions online back then.

The wait is killing us!!!

are you really swiss, swissmiss3?
Because I haven’t found anyone on here yet who’s in Switzerland! ;-)

Yep…My dad is a Swiss immigrant and I have dual nationality, a Swiss passport but, sadly, no Swiss bank account. :(

I live in the States, though.

Oooops, I just see that you, sev1991, are in Switzerland. Where are you?
My dad is from Le Locle (NE) and his family is originally from near Fribourg. All our Swiss relatives are still over there. Dad was the only one to come to the States.

how do we find out our admissions decision? email?

U can find out online through Pton’s application tracking system (which u may have used to check ur application progress. here’s a copy of the mass email they just sent:

Dear Student,

Admission decisions for applicants to the Princeton Class of 2013 will be available online on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 after 5 p.m. EDT. We also will send decision letters by standard mail to all applicants.

If you already registered to use Princeton s application tracking system to verify whether we received all of your application materials, you must use that username and password to see your decision.

If you have not yet registered, you must register to use Princeton s application tracking system. Due to the large number of students we anticipate visiting the site when it goes live, the registration system will be unavailable from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT on March 31, 2009. Accessing your decision online involves a two-part process:

To register you must have two pieces of information: the email address and PIN you recorded on your Princeton application. You will use the email address and PIN from your application to create a username and password. We recommend that you write down the username and password you create when you register. To register, go to https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/.

In order to view your decision, you will be required to enter the username and password you created during registration. Please note that your username and password are not the same as your email address and PIN.

To protect the confidentiality of your decision, do not share your username and password with anyone. When you have finished viewing your decision online, be certain to close your browser.

After 5 p.m. on March 31, please go to https://notify.princeton.edu/ to view your decision. You may wish to bookmark this link ahead of time. Be sure to copy and paste the entire link. Note that it begins with https, rather than http.

Applicants who did not list an email address and PIN on the application will need to wait for their decisions to arrive by standard mail. They may also call our office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EDT beginning on Monday, April 6, 2009.

Thank you for applying to Princeton .

Princeton Admission Office

hehehe the whole last paragraph is kinda unnecessary becuase if they didnt list an email address on the application they would not have recieved that email…lol

I am so excited to be going to Princeton next year!! i know everyone’s still going crazy waiting right now, but a friend of mine, in the class of 2012, jeremy, volunteers in the admissions office, and he freaking let me know that I was IN!! ahhhhh i can’t believe it!! ridiculous, i know. ok and he has extremely limited access to a section of an admitted student list, only last names starting with A through F. if you’re ready to find outtt, shoot him an email at jmattern@ ->princeton.edu if you would like to know a little early.
can’t wait to know who my future classmates are! GO TIGERS!

^ Go away, ■■■■■. Your kind is not welcome here.
