How are decisions sent out?

My friend is applying and has no idea, and I couldn't find anywhere on their site that stated anything definite.

i believe someone comes riding down your street on a chestnut-colored horse, wearing a tricornered hat and buckled shoes, shouting the news for all the world to hear…

You check decisions online, March 31st @ 5PM. I believe you log into the application tracker, but I have a think I may be wrong about that…

Actually, TrulyJuly has it right. Also, I’m pretty sure that if you’re rejected, the horse-rider tosses dead fish at your house and if you’re accepted, he tosses live fish.

Come on guys, lets be helpful shall we?

The decision is online on their website, I’m sure of that, but I am curious if we will be getting an email with a “decisions ID” or using our application status-checking ID. Because that site was really crappy. It’s not going to be able to handle 22,000 peeps.

yeah, what do we log on with?

Probably with the four digit code that we chose on the app or just the password for the princeton tracker page.

Where did ya guys see that it was March 31st at 5??

^ all ivy league institution agreed on a time/day.

Or 4 PM, if you’re central time. :(

Or 3 PM, if you’re mountain time. :D

i wish i were pacific time to 2pm. i would love to either skip school or make a big deal about checking it during school.

I am on Pacific time. I definitely will check it during school, but I’m a little afraid of how I’ll feel if I don’t make it…no private time to compose myself. Still, I have to know!

Check it in private first. If rejected say nothing- If accepted- make a big deal about it and fake surprise in front of everyone ;p

Do letters go out around the same date or after March 31? I’d think the letters would be timed accordingly.

Mal77, c’est tr

I hope their server can handle all the people trying to access the system at the same moment! Pray it doesn’t crash and we end up waiting longer! :(

Would they try and coordinate, the emails with the snail mail, so they arrive at about the same time. I would love to get my decision by reg mail, it makes it. . . how should I put it. . . more dramatic?

^^^i know this makes no sense, but if at all possible wait 2 days for the letter…ahahah i know i cant

Christ.

5:00pm EST means 3:30 in the damn morning on April 1st by my time.
Urgh.
