Has anyone received something about the AIM Program?

I got it in South Florida today. I was also invited to apply to honors, but nothing about scholarships other than letting them know if I become a NMF.

I guess mine’s lost in the mail :(

Has anyone gotten their letter that isn’t instate? Also, is the Admission committee somewhat flexible with letting students into the Honors program or do you have to have exactly a 2070 or higher on the SAT and a 4.0?

Also, when do you hear about scholarships and are there any full scholarships for OOS?

Finally got my admissions letter. UF certainly is not big on making you feel welcome.
Don’t think I will go there. Too big, too unfriendly, too resting on the laurels of the athletics. Not a good fit for me as I want a university that really wants me to attend and be successful

^yeah, and the honors packet wasn’t so great either.
Full of the eccentric honors students, like they were pushing it beyond what it really is.
Come on, beekeeping? really?
At least I got a laugh.

^
Yeah, that guy was ridiculous. He was like a triple major who worked with Zambian bee farmers.

I thought the girl with the majors in Biochemistry and Theater who went to Uganada looked like she was balding.

Pretty weird people. Glad I put Broward over Hume for housing, although I still hope to be in Honors as they get better advisors/internships/study abroad.

I can’t decide not going to a university just for the package in which the admission letter comes, come on! that is just a mere and little detail! don’t judge a book by its cover.

I got mine just yesterday! I live in FL but it felt like it took forever… [:

I received paperwork for the AIM program but I don’t know what the AIM program is.

anyone?

Yep, I know, it is a program made for people with low SAT scores, I am supposed to be in that program but for some reason i haven’t received anything. the AIM program normally begins in Summer B with prep classes to begin in fall with the regular ones.
