If my son gets rejected as a business major, will Pitt automatically look at his application for Arts and Sciences?
@Scout23, In most cases, yes. The admissions guidelines for both schools are similar, however, because Pitt Business has fewer spaces and looks for strong academic performance in math courses, there are circumstances where an applicant may be competitive for admission to the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and not Pitt Business. Most students who fall in into this category will be asked for additional academic information before a final offer of admission to the Dietrich School is made.
