School For University of Pittsburgh

I applied to the business school because I want to major in business. However, I feel that it could be a reach and might not get in. However by applying to the liberal arts and sciences it easier to get in as “undecided”. I called the admission officer and they said you can only apply to one school. Is this true? And which school should I apply to. Because I applied early action for Fall of 2017. If I do get rejected is it possible to still apply again in regular decision to the liberal arts and sciences.

@AroundHere1, Yes, it is true. You can apply to only one school. We do not offer early action, we just do rolling admissions at the University of Pittsburgh. Our Admissions Committee is reviewing applications and making decisions now, so you should hear fairly soon.

HI, I was wondering. If I get my admission back and if it is rejected can I re apply to the liberal arts school

@AroundHere1, When you receive your admissions decision, the communication should let you know about what your options are. There are several different scenarios, so it’s hard for me to answer your question directly. If you would like to discuss this question at greater length, you can contact our office: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.

Best of luck!
