admission requirements for usc

on the admissions website it only indicates that students are required to take English and Math classes.

However I’m a ccc applicant. Thus when I got to the articulation page it says. Students may fulfill GE categories I, II, III, and V with transfer courses taken before starting USC. Also there’s the foreign language course and diversity course requirements. Are we required to complete one course from those categories before admission?

Whats the prereqs for my major and how can I find it? I’m an econ/international relations major.(deciding between the two)

i feel like the USC system is so different from the uc system. anyone with experience please explain it to me! any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If you are at a California community college, there should be transfer advisors there with very specific info about what courses at your cc fulfill the different general education requirements at USC, and who can fully explain the transfer situation to you. As for what you need for different majors, if you can't find this online when you look up the information on USC's website, you might also be able to get the info through your cc advisor, or as a last resort, by phoning the USC departments and having the secretaries either give you the info or tell you where to find it online. Good luck.
