Admission to FSU

I'm not sure about the resident expert status, but maybe the resident FSU alumnus. ;)

Lots of other parents and students here provide outstanding and reliable information about FSU, e.g. cybermom, Ray, sunnyflorida, fsu-uf (needs a new screen name - lol)...we all try and make this board helpful to students.

You can expedite the ACT to view scores and send earlier I think by paying a bit of additional money.

You do need to depend on what is shown online on your admissions status, it is fairly comprehensive and will list your application status and most of your data. If something isn't there that should be or something is shown incorrectly call immediatly to get it straightened out. They are usually very helpful on the phone.

Another point if information comes close to the deadline it probably will not be considered for that block so you need to plan along those lines. Make sure you school gets out Transcripts, school profile, recommendations ect in plenty of time before the deadline.

Most schools including FSU will defer on early applications as opposed to deny if you are within the range of their profile. They will ask for additional test scores, mid semester marks, updated class ranks ect. So in the past if something didn't make it you were still in the hopper for future evaluation.

My best advise is don't let Senioritis creep in for this and many other reasons.
