What is your SAT or ACT score? Unweighted GPA? When did you apply? I would check out the Rolling Decisions/Timing thread. There is information on there from those who have been accepted/deferred along with their Stats.
I believe that they update portals before they send emails and letters so keep checking your portal.
U of M should be sending out their emails to prospective students next week and someone on the Decisions/Timing thread mentioned that spots open up at MSU when this happens.
