<p>i think they’ve sent most people something like that. i was sent a poster of the campus with a letter acknowledging my app and there was a small hand written note at the end of the letter from the dean of admissions about including colgate in my college search.</p>

<p>I received a really nice letter also with a note from the dean of admissions. I love this school!</p>
<p>Colgate has an amazing admissions director, Gary Ross. He remembers the names of EVERY accepted student who enrolls, and is a legend at the school.</p>
<p>If you are accepted, your accepted letter has a personalized handwritten note from Gary at the bottom that will make reference to your essay, or some other part of your application. A very nice touch!!</p>
<p>Don’t take anything seriously from Colgate until you get that magic decision letter. 
It’s truly a warm school that wants to give you personalized attention.</p>
