@kau123 December 11th ish
When is the last day they will tell you for EA? I still didnt get a decision yet and I’m wondering if not getting a decision by now means I’m out of the running.
The website says “mid-January” so you should hear within the next few days.
My daughter was just admitted this afternoon! Right at 3:00 - we checked at 2:53 and it still said evaluation, checked again at 3:06 and it said admitted! In-State, 3.86 uw gpa, top 10%, 29 ACT, Exploration Program - by choice she’s still undecided. Four years of Varsity Volleyball and over 600 volunteer hours at zoo. A few other extra curriculars.
Rejected OOS Business 1230 CR and Math. 3.6 GPA
Regarding the Morrill Scholars distinction scholarship: When my daughter interviewed two years ago, she was invited come in person to interview or Skype. Last year they had to be available to come in person to interview. She had a panel of 4 interviewers and it lasted 20 mins. Found out two weeks later via a phone call from the director of the program that she got it.
Was the 3.6 weighted or unweighted? @Boobash
Weighted. 3.4 unweighted.
Got admitted yesterday (through buckeye link, still no email)! 33 ACT 3.5 GPA weighted.
@Boobash Hi! I’ve been told that I’ll be hearing back as to whether or not I have an interview by January 29… I hope I do, so I can visit campus! When did you child hear about the interview specifically?

I had friends accepted with a 23 or 24 and denied at a 27. The reviewing process is definitely based on a point system. Also it’s more competitive for OSS students. I am in state and submitted my application on Labor Day weekend. I have paid my $100 fee to be admitted as a student however I have not yet received any housing info, scholarship info, or Scholars info. Many OOS and IS who applied around the same time as me have found out. Did I not receive anything or is it released in random order?
I was accepted yesterday into Biomedical Engineering
GPA: 3.9
ACT: 29
School does not rank
I am also wondering if scholarships are given out after the acceptance. It seems I would be eligible for the National Buckeye Scholarship. Will they include the scholarship information on the admission letter?
Were any of you who have been either accepted or rejected already originally in DEFERRED status? Or did you go straight from evaluation to accepted or rejected? I did EA, got deferred, and am wondering if I need to wait until February to keep checking. . . .
@malek996 Merit scholarship info is not included in your admission letter, it will come separately.
I got accepted in November and still no word on merit scholarships/honors, anyone else not get those yet?
@israelifun Nothing on scholarships/honors either but I only got accepted recently
@israelifun - I got accepted on 20th Nov, but have heard nothing on scholarships at all.
@ISRAELIFUN - I forgot to add I did get invited to Scholars. But no scholarship info yet.
@israelifun Nothing here either. Was accepted 12/18 and have heard nothing yet regarding scholarships/Honors. We are OOS.
