I was admitted to OSU yesterday. I’m OOS and have a 32 ACT and a 91/100 GPA. So happy

My daughter was admitted yesterday. GPA 3.98 unweighted, class rank 3/90
So excited! Direct admit to School of Engineering!

Oh and I was accepted into the School of Business for Accounting!
My DS was admitted to OSU last week. Also admitted to Valparaiso @AugVp41. 32 ACT, top 15% of class, 4.4 Weighted, 10APs, 5 varsity letters, community service, leadership, engineering EC, etc.
How do I know if I’m directly admitted to the school of business? It just says the major I applied for (International Business Administration)–does that mean I’m directly admitted?
I’m trying to find that out too, I got in and applied for computer science.
@ovni12 and @norcalcomp My original admit letter said I was admitted to the Columbus Campus and then I received an additional letter 2 weeks later that said I was a direct admit to the College of Engineering. Don’t know if they are doing that for everyone, but that is how I found out.
@SALSRL when did you get your first acceptance letter? I haven’t received anything from the school yet. I was just accepted this most recent Friday
@norcalcomp My S received his first letter right before Christmas and the second came via snail mail yesterday.
Please do note that admission to engineering college does not mean being in a specific major. There are still specific rules for qualifying for each major, based on performance in first 2-3 semesters.
@dreamed and @osuprof I am totally aware of that. Just quoting what the letter said. It’s an admit to the College of Engineering and not into Exploration. I don’t recall saying it was a specific major.

Just got notified that I got the Morrill Excellence Scholarship!!! The email I got says they have yet to interview for the Distinction Award - anyone know what these interviews consist of/how selective it is?
DD got deferred just outside top 10% 1230 CR and Math. Applied to Neuroscience. OOS, 5 varsity letters, multiple extracurricular and several honor societies. Competitive!
