@Buckeyeband1 Congrats on that 5 in AP Chem!! My school does gpa on a 4 point scale, so an A is worth 4, B 3, and so on. For Honors classes you receive .025 bonus points. So say you get an A in Chem H, it will be a 4.025. And then that’s done for all your classes and avg. out to get your gpa. For AP, the bonus points received is .050. So an A in APUSH would be worth 4.05 compared to an A in regular US History which would be given a 4.
Another thing, my school caps GPAs. After a combined total of 14 honors and/or AP classes, you no longer receive the bonus points. So for me, I have courses this year that I am not receiving an H or AP GPA boost for. Apparently my school is uncapping it next year, but the point is, my school definitely limits how high your weighted GPA can be. If I remember correctly from speaking with my counselor, the max WEIGHTED is a 4.8
Also, I applied for the Morrill Hill Scholarship as well. Do you happen to have any info on when we receive news on that?

@STF4717 i have similar stats but in state also deffer ed , i think they are way more cautious with acceptances oos and in state with the engineering college unless u have amazing stats cause they are more competitive, i think u have a good shot in march
@Hm0416 i dont believe you are able to retake the act or sat in time to get your scores and send them to osu by jan 1 regular decision deadline, could be wrong but sorry.
