Admissions Decisions - Class of 2022

@warrenb site is vague and says mid January

@jerzeemom2 did you mean to say she got the National Buckeye and Provost? I’ve never heard of Maximus and Provost being awarded to the same student.

Sorry - In my earlier post I meant to say that my D received National Buckeye and Provost.

Thanks simple0920: Stats: Rank - Top 3%, ACT 33, SAT 1460. The requirements are posted here: http://undergrad.osu.edu/cost-and-aid/merit-based-scholarships

I am an OOS student and applied to Ohio State-Main Campus early action for business. Since I have not heard back yet and I see others have, should I be expecting a letter of denial? Just wanna prepare myself haha

I’m in the same position waiting on the College of Engineering so I’m freaking out a little

There will be another wave of EA acceptances either this Friday or next Friday (If OSU follows the same approach to EA acceptances they used last year).

Praying it’s this Friday

Last year it was 1/20. So this year may be 1/19. However, I thought they said EA decisions would go out by 1/15 this year?

The OSU Admissions page states if you apply by the EA deadline you will receive a decision no later than mid January…doesn’t give an EXACT date…so soon!

I’ll bet the next wave will be Friday the 19th, considering the first two have been on the third Friday of each month.

FYI my sister has an email from admissions that says “you will receive a decision no later than the end of January.”

@18college1111 Sorry for late response, he applied on 10/22 and was admitted 11/28. It came via regular mail.

My daughter received notification today that she has been accepted into her #1 choice for Scholars (Mount Leadership). She is very happy!

My son just received email notification today that he got into his first choice Business Scholars program.

My son just received the very same email for his first choice, Business Scholars. He is thrilled!

@brutusmom when did your child submit the form? Good to know. The office said notification is in March. Did you pay the acceptance fee yet so enrolled or not committed yet? Seeing if it makes a difference. Regular email or buckeye mail?

I told my D to check her status. It could be today but that most likely the final wave of EA notices will be next Fri. Let us know if anyone hears differently.

@camcam2022 My son received the notification via regular mail. I was surprised the notification was so early. By son filled out the Scholars preference form on 12/10.

@camcam2022 He submitted the form on December 10th or 11th and we have not paid the acceptance fee yet. The notification came through regular email. I don’t think he has a Buckeye email account yet.
