They had fewer applicants in EA 2019 due to changes in REA rules, but they adjusted acceptances accordingly.

I used to live in South Bend. We have lots of friends and family there, my mom has heard from a few people that letters are being mailed in the immediate future….that could change, but based on last year I think everyone will know by next week.

Is this the same situation that happened with the notification decisions last year?

My son is a soph at ND. He told me he heard they are dropping in mail this Fri. Consistent with when he heard 2 years ago on 3/23.

Oh wow. But that means we have to wait the weekend…

I guess there isn’t any reason for them to deviate from their release date from years past, since there haven’t been any problems this year that would postpone decisions, so it would make sense if decisions were mailed out Friday.

I wonder that though with the unfortunate passing of Fr. Ted. That must have been really hard for the community to handle.

I’m guessing they will be mailed tomorrow, if consistent with prior years. We are sure D will be rejected, and this will be a bummer of a start to spring break. We’ll probably receive it Saturday and her admitted student visit to Saint Mary’s is Sunday/Monday. As a ND parents, let me offer congrats to those that are accepted. It is an incredible place.

I live in South Bend, and applied to ND–they’re almost positively mailing them tomorrow. Pretty sure there were several people in this area who already got letters, as I personally know someone who got rejected earlier this week.

If they haven’t put something on twitter, I don’t think admissions has started sending regular decision letters.

@DolceDolce‌ A classmate knew someone in the south bend area who also got rejected earlier this week, not sure what to make of it save that the letters are coming soon.

@dolcedolce‌ if that is true does that mean they send out rejections first and if they mail them today how have people already received their answers?

Those rejections are likely to kids of faculty and staff at ND. They let some know ahead of time that they didn’t get in as a courtesy. There is a huge tuition benefit if those kids get into ND.

On the Notre Dame Admissions Twitter page they said that decisions would be sent out late March to early April.

Does anyone know when are we International Students getting the email? Monday maybe?

FYI, I talked to a counselor at ND and he said that this week is THE week.

so do internationals get a physical letter or will we be notified through email?

@nervousfreshie‌ I think int’ls get an email around when domestics get the letter so that they don’t feel behind. Since int’l mail may take a while, an email is sent out so they don’t have to wait weeks

Letters are in the mail. Best of luck to all.

@R4thestars‌ just curious, how do you know??

@Homeless2Harvard‌ Notre Dame Admissions just tweeted that they mailed them today!
