@equationlover If everything isn’t showing as received in your portal than I would probably call tomorrow and check that they are even considering you at for the early action deadline.
@heading2college7 They said to wait 10 days for everything to link up. Here is copy/pasted from the admissions office: “Allow up to 10 days for items to show as complete in your Applicant Center once the Coalition or Common Application has been submitted. As long as the items are received / postmarked by November 1, your application will be considered on time for early action.”
SO EVERYONE! Do not freak out if everything is not on there, as long as it had the correct post-mark date.
@equationlover is the guidance counselor supposed to submit your transcript via the common app website?
@ScrubStudent depends on the system your school uses
If my application now shows that it’s under “evaluation,” do you think that I’ll get my decision during the first round, or later? I would suspect that it will be later given my having submitted it on the 31st.
My son received an email suggesting he should apply for Eminence Scholarship. Did everyone receive or was this student specific?
@iamamom3 looks like it’s for students who applied to the Honors program
@collegemom9 --thank you!
@ScrubStudent if your application is under “evaluation” that just means you have all your materials submitted and received. People who applied in late October from the past year’s threads usually did not get accepted first round but it’s not impossible.
If I sent my Common App & transcripts on October 1, but my SAT scores weren’t sent until the 23rd of October does that mean I’m more likely to receive a decision later rather than sooner? Or does it seem like decisions come back sooner based more off of when the Common App (& not the transcripts/scores) was submitted? Not 100% counting on my decision to come back in the first round because the admissions counselor for my area supposedly takes much longer to get through applications (students from multiple schools in my area received decisions much later even though they applied very early).
@oj2018 I really don’t think people can answer this question. If you look back to last year, some people who applied closer to the 11/1 deadline (or had materials submitted around then) heard back and others didn’t. You’re just going to have to wait to see.
My status is finally under “evaluation”. Like they said, everything appeared within 5 days.

1st round of decisions should be in a week!
If the app was complete on 10/12, is there a chance for an early answer?
@STEM2017 D17 app was completed during that time two years ago and was accepted first round. Good Luck!
