Admissions letter personal comments?

<p>So I received my letter from my admissions person today telling me about Yale, and he wrote a personal comment at the end of the letter as well....Just curious, but is this the norm? My friend told me that admission officers write a "personal comment" on every letter, so I just wanted to know if it's real or not lol.</p>

<p>I got mine today, and it made me feel so good! I’m sure their just doing this in the hopes of getting some edge against other colleges, but it sure worked for me.</p>
