admissions notification

when do admissions decision usually start to come out (if before April 1) and how are they delivered (mail/email/online account)?

Usually around March 23rd if I remember correctly. You’ll receive it in the mail. If it’s a big letter, you’ve been accepted. If not, you’ve been waitlisted rejected.

Good luck!

(PS, your post count is 47!)

Oh congrats on the auspicious post count!

So Pomona releases its decisions early? The day is April 5 according to their website.

Do decisions come in the mail for international students too?

I wouldn’t say they release them early, but April 5th is the latest day anyone should hear from them, not the date they mail the letters. So how close you live to Southern California will usually decide how long it will take to get to you. I live in Arizona and received my letter on February 11th for ED2 (the official date was February 15th, and the letter was postmarked for the 9th).

Lastyear, S received his admission letter in the mail March 26. I believe it was postmarked the 24th or 25th (We are in S. California).
