Admissions Question

We're just starting out. Daughter is a sophomore. Can one of you guys tell me how many SAT Subject tests Emory requires? She's probably going to take Math IIC in June (finishing precalc H now with an A) just to get it out of the way.

Thanks

Emory does NOT require any SAT IIs, but they are RECOMMENDED...so it would be helpful to take them and do well, in my opinion.

The accepted wisdom seems to be that Emory looks at the Subject tests if they can help you and ignores them if they don't.

My daughter only submitted her ACT scores and was accepted.

i only submitted my ACT and i was accepted

I only submitted SAT scores and was admitted

my SAT II scores were horrendous, and I still got in. Only being a sophomore, she's got a lot of time to prepare for the SAT II's a little more. So if she even feels the slightest unprepared, hold it off until next year.
