If I take my senior year at Santa Barbara City College, instead of at my high school, how will UC's look at this? I had about a 4.0 UC GPA. I want to apply to UCLA, UCI, UCSB

Why are you taking your senior year at Santa Barbara City College? Does your school not offer courses at your skill level? If this is the case, it would probably look good for your. It'll also give you something to write about in your personal statement.

does that mean you skipped a year and graduated your junior year of HS then spent your senior year at a CC? I dont get it... But if you work hard and take all the hard classes that are offered at your HS, and take CC classes, then getting into those UCs wouldn't be a problem

no, i am deciding whether to take my senior year classes at SBCC, I would still get a diploma, i would just have extra credits...

I was in an academy in my senior year of high school. I took half of my classes at a community college and half in portables on the CC's campus to fulfill my graduation requirements. Because it is your senior year, you won't get any of the grades to count towards your admissions. You'll basically be a high schooler who took community college classes (a lot of people do this). However, it will make you look better for admissions just taking the classes (the grades do not matter - just pass). For example, UCD gives 50pts towards admissions with every additional semester of classes you take after 35 cumulative semesters. UCSD will give you 500 points if you surpass 40 cumulative semesters. If you took the classes in your junior year, they would factor into your gpa and be weighted like any AP class.
