I recently got accepted to UNC Wilmington and i am not sure if i still have to send mid-year grades. Will they be requested or should I just automatically send them ?

If the notification asked you to send them, then send them. If not, then it’s unnecessary. Congratulations!

when does the application typically come out for the fall semester. As i am going to be a senior and this is my first choice, and since i am an out of state student i want to make sure i do a good job on my essay and such

UNCW requires that all students send in their full and final high school transcripts. Please send these transcripts and any AP scores or Dual Enrollment credit in as soon as possible.

UNCW will try to release our fall 2012 application for admission at the end of the summer. If you are on our mailing list we will be sending out an email to all students letting them know when it is online and running. If you are not on our mailing list I encourage you to join by creating a SeaLevel account- this is how you will be able to apply, check the status of you application, visit campus, etc.

We do not encourage students to complete the application until your senior year courses are set in stone. If you begin your senior year and are still switching classes this makes it difficult for us and your appllication. Wait to submit your application once you have settled on your classes. Since UNCW is deadline based admission, if you apply on the first day the application comes out or the last possible day (November 1: Early Action, February 1: Regular Decision) you will still receive your admission decision by mail on the same day (around January 20: Early Action, April 1: Regular Decision).
