Admissions Rescindence, University of Richmond

I was just wondering if anyone knows if I would get my admissions rescinded from University of Richmond. Two of my grades dropped from 90 in the 1st and 2nd quarter to a low 80, high 70 in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Besides that, all of my grades have stayed at about a low 90. If anyone knows anything that would be helpful, I would really appreciate it!

Does that put you in the D range?

@"Erin’s Dad"‌ That would be a B+ in most schools.

@michaelite‌ - are you joking? A low 80 / high 70 is a B+ in most schools?

OP - What @"Erin’s Dad"‌ is getting at, is that schools aren’t likely rescind unless you get Ds or Fs.

I think accepted students should be VERY careful. In light of all of the WL and increased applications, senioritis should be avoided at all costs. Schools could make room for those who are continuing to maintain top grades. Would they do this?

@phoenixmomof2 I think he means a B+ average.

@minohi‌ - Thank goodness. I was thinking that this might be the reason so many kids have 4.0 GPAs. :slight_smile:

@phoenixmomof2‌ I am sorry. I am an international and I thought that the rules should nearly be the same. Here 91-100 in A+, 81-90 in an A and 71-80 is a B+ . How different is that from the American system?

@michaelite‌ - Ahh… I see. Depends on the school. My son’s school is 93 - 100 A, 90 - 92 A-, 87-89 B+, 83-86 B, 80-82 B-, 77-79 C+, 73-76 C, 70-72 C-, etc, etc. My D’s school isn’t quite as clear with their breakdowns.

@phoenixmomof2‌ Thanks… In my country an A+ is something only the toppers get. Our exams are extremely rigorous especially in the last two years of high school, so a B+ average is normally a top 10% kinda thing in a decent school.

@phoenixmomof2‌ I would probably place just those two classes at a C

Since my D is my oldest and a senior I cannot answer from too much experience. However, from many past CC threads, the consensus has been no Ds, Fs or felonies.
