<p>Is their ratio of admitting 1,677 students for a enrollment class of 500 consistent with previous years?</p>
<p>Have they released how many students they put on the waitlist this year?</p>
<p>Have they published annually how many kids were accepted off of waitlists?</p>
<p>Anyone have insight or predictions into what they think about this year's waitlist and how many will get accepted?</p>
<p>All colleges say the same thing in terms of getting off the waitlist: they can’t predict. In some years, schools admit a good number and other years they take zero. i can’t imagine Conn would be any different in this regard.</p>
<p>What makes it even more difficult though with CC is that they don’t produce/release a common data set (at least that I or others have found). With colleges that release this information you can see past history and trends and make some basic assumptions.</p>
<p>From what I recall of the previous year (2013) They did admit somewhere around 1,500 or so students. The number wasn’t too far off of the 2014 class number, and was def at least 1,000.</p>
<p>I thought it would be good to record admissions statistics for admitted students so we can compare it to that of enrolled students later. This is the first admissions cycle with the full test-optional policy. Let’s see if their is any difference between enrolled students from last year and this year.</p>

<p>I think they had stats for enrolled students on their website before they finalized their 2014 decisions. I could look at cached versions of the website to find it, but I don’t want to do that right now. I have some statistics in my Princeton Review guidebook, but I have to take much of their info with a grain of salt. Regardless, they will publish info for the enrolled class of 2014 sometime.</p>
<p>Yes, the 2013 enrolled stats were on the website. I was shocked at the difference. I think the 2013 class has something like an average SAT of 26-28, while the 2014 admission class is quite a bit higher. I guess that means that a lot of the top end students are attending elsewhere.</p>
<p>That what happens. A high amount of students who are accepted to Conn are also accepted to more prestigious LACs and choose to attend those.</p>
