<p>Just checked and daughter’s transcript loaded and financial aid page lists a student ID number…</p>
<p>I was given a student Number instead of 000000. And the email about financial aid had the student number on the top of the email. It was an email saying I did not qualify for financial aid. But on the application I already selected “Not needing Financial Aid”. So I’m <em>hoping</em> if you can find that student id anywhere, you have been accepted.</p>

<p>Mine loaded but since I’m in a UW in the High School class the only thing different is that it lists my high school courses, SAT scores, etc. What does this mean?</p>

<p>this whole thing is driving me (and pretty much everyone who applied to uw) CRAZY!! I just want to know, UW is my top choice… and I applied/appealed last year and didn’t get in so the wait is realllly agrivating. (I am currently on a gap year program in Israel which is coming to an end rather soon) </p>

<p>I e-mailed UW about me not getting an e-mail about FAFSA and the person said “Some people have been selected for verification and have therefore received emails asking for them to submit tax returns, etc”</p>
<p>I am starting to think that those who were “selected for verification” are the ones who got accepted. </p>
<p>And after the person said “Incoming freshman for UW-Seattle have not yet been notified of admission. That should be happening shortly.”</p>
<p>And here, you can see that she said INCOMING FRESHMAN, meaning those who have been accepted haven’t been notified of admission, meaning maybe those who got rejected got their letters yesterday, meaning our assumptions may have been correct.</p>
<p>Maybe I’m over analyzing the e-mail I got, but my analysis seems to be right.</p>
<p>Selected for verification. I think that may be a good sign for those who did not get the email. It says on FAFSA after you fill it out that some people will be selected for random verification to insure that the information they put in the FAFSA is correct. They don’t select everyone as that would be too many people. It seems too many people didn’t get the email for it to be waitlist but am not sure.</p>
