<p>I currently go to Georgia Tech as a sophmore and am looking to transfer to unh. I came in as an aerospace enigneering major but recently changed to business or to be more specific I am going to do managment of information systems. Being an engineering major at a good engineering school really hurt my gpa. Before last semester my gpa was a 2.44. My gpa for this semester since I started taking business classes is 3.4 with 5 classes. This brings my overall gpa to like a 2.76 i believe. My high school gpa was around a 3.4 ish and my SAT'S were a 1200 (obviously before new version). What do you think my chances for transfer are and do hyou think they will take into consideration that i was doing a difficult major at a difficult school? any other schools you suggest? I would be in-state by the way and I read on the website that most addmitted transfer students have a gpa of 2.8 or higher but I am coming from a very difficult school where they tell us that a C there is better than an A anywhere else, i just dont think UNH is going to consider too heavily where I am coming from. Georgia Tech was #2 in the country for my old major but I doubt UNH is going to care too much.</p>
