<p>Just my two cents, but last year I found out about my admission at 2 in the afternoon. And everyone, no matter which college, found out about their admission at the same time. </p>
<p>UT Admission Office closes around 5 PM and I’m not sure if they would release admission decisions after closing time? They might to avoid hundreds of phone calls asking “WHY DIDN’T I GET ACCEPTED” though… Hm. Who knows.</p>
<p>Either way, best of luck!! If/when you do get in, I encourage you to at least take a formal tour of UT and an informal tour on your own. UT has amazing resources on campus and I have not regretted coming here for a second. Good luck!</p>

<p>ok so i just called, and they said all those who are getting accepted should have found out exactly at 5 on mystatus, all others who are getting capped, rejected etc will find out later (but they arent sending those yet b/c a few qualified might get accepted after may 1)</p>
